For the Chocolate Mousse: – 8 ounces (about 225g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate, finely chopped – 2 cups heavy cream, divided – 1/4 cup powdered sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven: – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
